How to cleaning printer head?

1. Put cleaning water into the vessel, water height is just soaked printer head as well.
Do not let cleaning water fluid nozzle contact with printhead's circuit board.
Put a piece of paper below printhead, let it do not contact to vessel.

2. Let printhead soak in the cleaning water continued for several hours or more,
in immersion, with the auxiliary use of the printer head cleaning, strengthening effect.

3. If the internal sponge cartridge needs cleaning, let cleaning water is heated to 60 °C,
poured into the sponge inside, so that cleaning fluid to melt the ink which has been caking off,
with the printer head cleaning uses, and then the cleaning water has been melted or use
the centrifuge to extract the ink drying.

Note:

1. If do not know ink performance your machine used, before cleaning must do ink test:
put your ink in to a small container, put cleaning water into it,see if completely dissolved rapidly,
if not,do not use that cleaning water, replacement of the correct type of cleaning fluid.

2. Users to remove the printhead,be sure to turn off the printer, it is best to bring the hands of anti-static ring,
if have not, let hand to touch other conductors,to release of the body's static electricity,
sometimes body's static electricity is sometimes the body is too high, Its easy to breakdown the motherboard components,
resulting in print, everything is normal, but there is no ink phenomenon.

3. When install printhead, make sure the it is dry, otherwise easily lead to burning printhead.

How to select a printer?

E-mail Print PDF

Home←→Office  For home users who print documents occasionally and for various purposes such as school projects, a color inkjet printer would be sufficient. The entire family will enjoy the color out printing. For office users who print every day, the speed and reliability of a laser printer will be appreciated. For a well-budgeted office, it's recommended to have both types of printers to meet the requirements of different purposes.

Black←→Colors  Most people know Colors printing is great for banners, brochures, newsletters, art design, marketing materials, greeting cards, and other like that.Inkjet printers colors printing can tie-in a continuous ink supply system, then you do not need to change ink cartridge more frequently, just need to buy printer ink to refill CISS tank.

Laser printing is more mature than before. It's fast, reliable, and inexpensive. It's great for documents, simple graphics, and faxes. However, it's mostly only black and white.

USB←→Parallel  A USB printer allows you to connect it to a computer without powering down the computer first. Coupled with plug and play technology, a USB printer is very easy to set up and share bring computers. In comparison, a parallel printer requires restarting a computer after connection and disconnection.

Multifunctional→  A multifunctional printer/fax/copier makes sense for saving space and money. It's often less expensive than buying a separate printer, fax machine and copier. This should however be intended for light usage of each and all functions. For instance, if you expect to receive many faxes every day, it's better to have a stand-alone fax machine; otherwise the faxing function would interfere with the printing and copying functions. A separate fax machine often has special functions that allow you to manage the faxes better.Another drawback of the multifunctional is the reliability. The more functions one machine has the more chances for breaking down. If any of the functions is broken and you send the machine for repair, the other functions are affected as well.

Brands→  Printer is one computer product that we recommend choosing by the brands. All printers have moving parts, which could cause reliability problems down on the road. Name brands with relatively long history of printing technology are of the choice if the prices and specs are similar. They have good quality guarantee and technical support too.

Price→  This is somewhat contradictory to the brand choices. Printer technologies are for the most part mutual now, resulting in severe competition and a buyer's market. Giving the same specs, it's OK to choose a printer by the price, especially for budget-conscious users.

What is the advantage of pigment ink?

E-mail Print PDF
Pigmented ink particles tend to settle into the tiny fibers that make up the paper. As the ink dries, the pigment particles get stuck in the fibers. Thus, the pigmented inks are more water-resistant than the dye-based inks. Only about 5 to 10 percent of the ink will dissolve into the water if the paper is wetted. Dye-based ink tends to fade quicker, since all of the molecules are exposed to the chemical and sunlight-caused reactions that fade the ink. You may notice fading of dye-based inks exposed to direct sunlight commonly in 6 to 12 months. Pigment particles being "hidden" in the fibres. It is much more difficult for sunlight and chemicals to react with all of the pigment molecules. Pigmented inks therefore will usually last for many years before fading becomes noticeable.  Also the small particle size allows sharper image detail on even low-grade paper as the ink is less susceptible to bleeding and wicking on the paper fibers.

What is the difference between pigment ink, dye ink and Sublimation Ink?

E-mail Print PDF

All ink jet printer inks used in the home and most businesses use a similar formulation. The basic make-up of ink jet inks is de-ionized water as the solvent, isopropyl alcohol or glycol as the drying agent, and dye base to provide the colour. These materials as well as proprietary ingredients are mixed in various proportions to form ink jet inks. Depending on the page speed, print head design and colour capabilities, the actual proportion of the ingredients will vary. All dye-based ink jet ink formulations lack water resistance.
The introduction of pigmented black inks changed this, instead of using water soluble dye to provide colour, pigmented inks use small particles suspended in the base solution to provide the colour. To keep the particles from settling out of the solution the pigment particles are coated with a polymer material to generate a static charge around the particle, thereby keeping the particles from clumping.

Sublimation is the process of combining heat and pressure to convert ink on special sublimation paper to gas(without converting it to liquid), and then impart the impression depicted on the paper onto the end product. In the simplest terms - heat+pressure+ink on sublimation paper -> transfers the image on the paper to ceramic metal or other treated surface.
The end product receiving the image can be something that contains polyester, such as a T-shirt (the more polyester, the deeper the impression), or it might be metal or ceramic, such as a mug, and be coated with a special polymer coating that allows the design to permanently adhere to the final product.
