Even if you aren't a mechanic (we aren't), a CISS is easy to set up. Some systems come pre-filled, other's do not. Our prefilled system was a little harder to set up because, during shipping, some air had gotten in the tubes, and we figured the "plug-and-play" was going to happen...but it didn't. So, we ended up using the syringe to "suck" out the air in the tubes, and all was well. Setting up the system that we filled ourselves went flawlessly. Our opinion - it simply doesn't matter.
Either way, you are likely to have to put the syringe into the cartridge and try to "suck" out any air in the lines. Its easy, so don't worry about it!
